The response from participants of my past two clinic-and-climbing trips are encouraging. The knowledge and skills I learned from the RSL course have proven to be really good stuff and worthy of being shared with fellow ACC members. In this event, I will share with you the five key elements in gear placement and the setup of 3-point and 4-point equalette anchors. Then we’ll climb.

Maximum numbers of participants: 8 (can be increased depending on the number of leaders available)
Gear required: rock shoes, harness, helmet (all gear must be UIAA approved)
Gear recommended: water, lunch, sunscreen lotion, mosquito repellent.

Please note that ACC insurance covers both ACC members and non-members. Non-ACC members can participate in this event for free if you have never attended an ACC climbing trip before. Basic ACC membership is $47 per year. Participants must read the Trip waiver before attending this event and sign the waiver at the beginning of the event.

There is a gay climbing legend that is told...

Legend has it, there will be a guy. He is a special guy. This guy likes guys. This guy also likes two things: rocks and other guys who like guys who like rocks. Our poor but deadly handsome guy, who likes guys who likes rocks, had a dilemma. With two groups specializing in guys who like guys who like rocks, our guy didn't know what to do! "Where do I go? Where do I climb? Who do I ca...ll? Who do I climb?"

But fear not! There is a discoball at the end of this rainbow. The two groups specializing in guys who like guys who like rocks, will ditch the wicked spell book and climb together as one big ameoba of guys who like guy like rocks!

And it is on THIS DAY guys who like guys who like rocks will not care if their cellphone numbers start with a 416 or 647 (we don't know what to think of 905ers yet).

So with that, T.O. 'Mo Climbers and Crag Crux Climbers present...

"GHEY YOU! Ya, you! Let's go ghey rock climbing!"

Yeah, that's right, we're heading back to True North Climbing as the staff was beyond welcoming to our crew! On top of the boulder problems and fun lines, there are TWO finger cracks to work, slacklines to pretend the ground is lava with, and a free-standing stalactite! You may now dry your seat...s.

The same intro deal is being offered to us again, the lovely two-for-one intro special!

With two people splitting the deal at $45 (plus tax) you get the following:
- an hour long lesson
- all your equipment (harness and shoes)
- day pass
- a two week membership that begins on your next visit WITH rentals

Basically, you’re paying like $22.50 for a two week membership to a place where all you have to do is walk in and you’re set. This is a great opportunity to bring cheap friends/dates!

For all you edumauautucated belayers, day passes are $17 or $13 if you show your membership from ANY gym in Toronto
