The words have gone out. Crag Crux Climber's slackline demo and audience participation is being promoted as one of main attractions of this Great Outdoors show which includes four shows under one roof. (http://explore-mag.com/show)

The MAIN ATTRACTION being promoted is the Survivorman Les Stroud, who will give a presentation, Q&A, autograph session and meet and greet on Sunday, Nov. 28th. The other main attractions are Ray Zahab, Canadian ultra-marathoner and explorer who will share his stories from his quests across the Sahara, Antarctica, and his newest trek through the Amazon; Paddling with Kevin Callan, and hiking with Ryan Stuart.

As one of the Exhibitors, we have received six free VIP passes (valid for all three days), which are to be shared with The Ping Way that has insured Crag Crux Climbers for this event. If you would like to have a pass, please let me know and be prepared for me to ask you to volunteer in our booth for half day and wear our CCC t-shirt. This way, you can let your friend or partner use this free pass and you will get in for free as a staff. So you two can spend the other half-day to check out interesting booths or talking to Les Stroud, Ray Zahab, Kevin Callan or Ryan Stuart!

I am happy to report that I am fairly comfortable walking across a 18ft span on slackline now. I am 47. If I can do it, you can do it too! Hope you will join me at the show. Bring your harness and climbing gear. Slackline was first invented by climbers to pass time on non-climbing days. Talk to the people - most of them will be youths, I estimate - and present a gay-positive image/message. Some of them may be gay and may need your reassurance that "It gets better"!
