OK, let's try this again!
Welcome everyone to the new year! We've had several folks join the website in the last month, all inquiring about a beginners' / new members' night. I'd like to propose we pick an evening (sorry, I can't make it during the day) or possibly a weekend afternoon where we all get together at Rock Oasis at Dundas and Carlaw and climb.
So, who's with me? :)
Also, when works for folks? I've set up a doodle-poll at http://www.doodle.com/kvt2xdvnrncptexi to help us figure out what evening works best. Please choose all that you can make, and then we'll pick the one that works and post it as an event. I've covered dates over the next two weeks.
Settling on a date
So it looks like this Friday, the 27th, is the most popular for everyone (sorry, Anthony... can you make it somehow?). Let's plan on that, starting around 6:30pm.
Now, who hasn't climbed at Rock Oasis before, and so will need belay lessons? If you already know how to belay, you'll need to get checked out if you've not climbed at Rock Oasis before. Post a comment here.

I've never been to the new Rock Oasis, only the old one. I could probably use a belay refresher as it's been over a year since I last climbed.
